How Do I Cloak My ClickBank Affiliates’ Hoplinks?

November 24th, 2008 by MyLearningHub | Filed under ClickBank, Quick Profit Videos.

If you are a ClickBank vendor and are allowing affiliates to promote your product, your affiliates will send prospects to your site via their affiliate links (also called hoplinks). ClickBank hoplinks look similar to this (depending on their affiliate ID and your publisher ID):

Once a prospect reaches your site, the URL in the title bar will appear as in the picture below. Notice that the the affiliate’s ClickBank ID appears at the end of the URL (circled in red):

As a vendor, you can protect your affiliates’ hoplinks to help insure they receive their appropriate commissions. You can protect their links by “cloaking” them so their affiliate ID will not show in the URL. This is also a benefit for you as a vendor as the link won’t scream out “an affiliate sent me here just to make money off of me” :)
