If you have your own web hosting account, you probably know that you can manage it through use of a web hosting control panel. Probably the most popular control panels is called cPanel. cPanel, like other web hosting control panels, allows you to manage all aspects of your hosting account such as creating email accounts, creating FTP accounts, monitoring your website traffic, protecting directories and backing up your files.

As you start your online business, you will need to install a variety of scripts on your webserver. For example, WordPress is a blogging script that is very popular. To install WordPress you upload it to your webserver. However, since its a database-driven script, you will need to create a MySQL database.
